It's easy to feel like there's no escape from the bad news, or from the stress of keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic represents the first significant increase in stress among U.S. adults since the Stress in America survey was first administered in 2007 (APA).

While the pandemic is no longer new, that does not make it any easier to cope with its effects. With students returning to school and the holidays fast approaching, this time of year may be especially stressful in light of the current global crisis.
