Non Violent Communication

Non-violent communication emphasizes the feelings we experience when our needs are met and when they are not met.

When our needs are met, we may feel interested, affectionate, or hopeful. When they are not met, we may feel agitated, disconnected, or vulnerable.

In NVC, feelings are like colors: the more variety, the better. It's important not to label our emotions as "good" or "bad." Simply observe and sit with what you are feeling as you feel it.
