Time to Start Therapy

Starting therapy can be tough. Pouring your heart out to a stranger? đŹ Definitely uncomfortable and sometimes overwhelming. It might bring up memories and emotions youâve buried for years. When you begin therapy, itâs normal to feel a surge of anxiety, sadness, anger, or grief đ before things start to get better. This doesnât mean therapy isnât workingâquite the opposite. Itâs often a sign that real progress is happening.
